Rank order require respondents to order a set of options based on specific criteria or preferences. They are suitable for survey questions that assess respondents' attitudes or preferences towards multiple choices.
On the survey editing page, select "Sorting Question" from the question type controls on the left, or click the + button in the quick toolbar on the right of the specified question to choose "Sorting Question" to create a sorting question.
The title, choices, and remarks all support rich text editing, including: font styles.Insert hyperlink, insert image, insert video, quote survey content.
After turning off the "This question is mandatory" feature in the right panel, this question can be left blank when answering.
Choice association means that the choice selected (or not selected) by the respondent will appear as an option in the next question. It is generally used in cases where two questions are highly related or in follow-up questions.
The ranking question can support limiting the number of choices respondents can rank, which is suitable for scenarios where respondents need to select the most suitable choices from multiple options.
In the question editing mode, you can set the choices to be random. Once set successfully, the choices will be displayed in the answering interface according to the selected random method. The random methods include: random order, random forward and reverse order, and grouped display.
Random choice ordering means that the choices in the question appear in a random order when answering. After enabling the "random choice ordering" feature, a non-random checkbox will appear on the right side of the choices. If you want a certain choice to remain in its current position, you can check "non-random" after it, and that choice will not be included in the random ordering.
Randomizing the order of choices means that the choices in the questions will appear in either ascending or descending order randomly. When the "Randomize Choices Order" feature is enabled, a "Fix the Last Choice" switch will appear below it. If you wish to keep the last choice in its current position, you can enable the "Fix the Last Choice" feature, and the last choice will not be included in the randomization of the order.
Choice grouping display refers to dividing choices into multiple groups freely. During the survey, one or more choices from each group are randomly selected to be displayed, and the groups can be displayed in a random order.
In the "Answer Data" section of the statistics page, you can view the ranking of each respondent's choices for this question.
